The team's next step is to determine the final shape of the water slide. To do this, a spreadsheet is being developed that will predict the speed and acceleration of the rider as they move through the slide. This dynamic analysis tool will allow for the shape of the water slide to be tweaked to obtain the desired speeds and G forces the rider will experience.

In the meantime, a 3-dimensional model of the waterslide was made in Autodesk Inventor. This model will be changed later on to reflect the actual water slide geometry that the team designs, but it is a great starting point that provides a visual basis for designing the slide geometry.
