The team has been reaching out to our contacts to gain further knowledge into the process of designing a waterslide. Nicole reached out to Dr. James Maccariella, P.E., who has agreed to remain working with us as our industry advisor. 

Dr. Maccariella has experience working with swimming pools, so he will be able to provide us with experience and guidance in that area as well as in the structural design. Giovanna has reached out to a few water slide design companies including Proslide, Avalanche Waterslides, Whitewater, and Aquatic Development Group. We are hoping to gain knowledge from them pertaining to the typical design process for water slides and industry standards that we will need to keep in mind.
